Nonetheless, scanty is known about the role of public-private partnerships in stimulating technological adoption in Africa. This chapter aims to unpack the role of harnessing public-private partnerships in accelerating the adoption of emerging technologies in Africa. It is established that public-private partnerships are crucial as they accelerate digital growth in Africa, foster quality public service delivery, accelerate the adoption of nanotechnology, promote digital and technological skills transfer, and increase the efficiency of communications. It is concluded that public-private partnerships are essential for the effective and efficient attainment of inclusive sustainable development.
