dc.description.abstractThis dissertation was undertaken with the purpose of finding out new revenue generating sources that ZINWA can implement to alleviate the expanding funding gap at the organization .The research sought to determine the possibility of ZINWA in engaging in aquaculture and public private partnership to increase revenue .Literature review was given with regard to the potential revenue sources. An investigation by use of questionnaires and interviews, to get the opinion of employees at ZINWA with regard to the adoption of new revenue sources was conducted .The design that was utilized is descriptive. A sample consisting of 24 respondences was drawn and questionnaires were given them .Interview were given a sample of 5 respondences .Based on the contributions by the respondences, the revenue generation was low due and inadequate to cater for both capital and revenue expenditure. Noted from the research, ZINWA was mainly affected by poor infrastructure, uncompetitive pricing structures, mismanagement of resources and illegal reconnections of water supply. Results showed that ZINWA should adopt aquaculture to widen its revenue generating capacity.en_US
